Contacting support (and what never to send us)

Ways to reach us

  • From the app: Settings → Send Feedback. This opens an email pre-filled with only your app version and platform — nothing else is attached.
  • From this site: Contact support, Report a bug or Request a feature.
  • A dedicated support email address is being finalised: [SUPPORT_EMAIL_REQUIRED]. Until it is published here, the forms above are the reliable route.

What helps us help you

  • Your app version (Settings → Send Feedback pre-fills it, e.g. “1.0.0 (2)”) and iOS version
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
  • The exact text of any error message — error types in parentheses, version numbers in restore errors, and currency codes are all designed to be safe to share

What never to send — support will never ask for these

  • Passwords or verification codes
  • Bank credentials or full card numbers
  • NRIC or other national ID numbers
  • Payslips or statements, unless every sensitive detail is redacted
  • Your backup file (.varuno.json) — it contains your entire financial history in readable form
  • Screenshots with balances visible

If a message claiming to be Varuno support asks for any of the above, it is not us.

Response expectations

Varuno is in TestFlight internal testing with a small team behind it. Reports are read and genuinely valued — they are the point of a test phase — but there is no service-level response time yet.
